Main objective: Combined Merit Scholarship Assam 2021-22 is for those students of Assam who are pursuing degrees and master's courses in Arts / Science / Commerce from any government recognized institute of Assam. The main objective of the Scholarship is to provide financial support to those scholars who want to study at a higher educational level. This scholarship is a Merit Scholarship Scheme. All those scholars who find themselves eligible for this Combined Merit Scholarship can apply by the official website.
Eligibility Criteria:
1) The minimum qualifying percentage of the applicants shall be
i) 60% in Class 12 final examination for those applicants who apply for the Combined merit Degree Scholarship scheme.
ii)60% in degree courses for those applicants who apply for the Combined merit master degree scholarship scheme.
2) Students pursuing Degree and Master degree courses in Science/Arts/Commerce stream from any recognized College or University for the session 2021-21.
3) students must be permanent residents of Assam.
4) The applicants must have a valid bank account of their own and account details are to be submitted with the application form ( Account Holder name, account number, branch details, IFSC code ).
5) Scholarship amount shall be distributed among the applicants through the DIRECT BENEFIT TRANSFER (DBT)system.
6) Applicants should have relevant qualifications from any recognized institute.
7) The selection will be made strictly based on merit in all respects. It can also be restricted as per budget allocation.
Essential Documents:
1) Passport size photo of the Applicant2) Signature of the Applicant
3) Permanent Residence Certificate (Assam Government recognized)
4) Final Marksheet or Certificate of the previous qualifying examination.
5) Income Certificate issued by the Circle Officer in respect of the guardian of the Applicant. The income certificate will be recognized by the Assam Government.
6) Certificate from the head of the College or University in which the Applicant is currently studying.
